Cabin Rooms
The cabins are located approximately 175 feet from the main entrance of the lodge. All of the cabins are uniquely different with three rooms per cabin. The interior of the cabins are knotty pine and stone and really reveal the rustic charm from when they were built. Twenty of the cabins are double queen beds with 6 that have sofa sleepers. Two of the cabin rooms are furnished with a king bed……….$125.00-$149.00

Lodge Rooms
The lodge rooms were added during the renovation of 1988, all of these rooms are conveniently located near our winery tasting room, the pool and Jacuzzi, and the game room. This wing of the lodge is on a first and second level served by an elevator. 35 of these rooms feature two queen beds and three with one king bed……..$125.00-$149.00

Old wing rooms
As the name suggest these rooms were original to the lodge, and offer the best views of the river. Five of these rooms are double queen beds with three of them being single kings and four of them with one queen bed. These rooms are accessible by stairs only……..$125.00-$149.00

Most weekends are a two night minimum stay. We will have some friday & saturday nights that can be a one night stay. Please inquire, we will be happy to check for you.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 7 days prior. No penalty with 7 days prior notification. If less than 7 days prior and we are unable to resell, penalty is room & tax.

Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am

We do make every effort to honor early check-in. Depending on occupancy, sometimes - not every time - we can get you in your room before 4:00pm. Checkout time is firm at 11:00am.

We guarantee room location as far as lodge, cabin, or handicap. Other room type requests are not guaranteed. Room type requests are noted and requests are honored per the date the reservation was made.

We offer 50 rooms in our Main Lodge and 22 Cabin rooms. Our guest rooms are pleasant accommodations, which compliment the unique beauty of the Great Room, Dining Hall, Atrium Swimming Pool/Whirlpool/Sauna and 9,500 acres of scenic park grounds.

The main differences between a Lodge room and a Cabin room are location and décor. The Cabin rooms are located approximately 150 feet from the main Lodge. Guests must walk over to the main Lodge to use all services - there are no covered passageways. The Cabin décor room walls are wood and stone. This gives them a more 'woodsy' feel than the Lodge rooms, which have walls of smooth plaster. Otherwise, the size and other amenities of the rooms are the same.

All rooms have: Bed(s), private bath, guest controlled heat and air, table & chairs, dresser, cable television, radio, telephone with data port, 4-cup coffee maker, coffee and amenities, and hair dryer.

River View?
One of our most frequently asked questions. Due to the comings and goings of the Illinois River, the Lodge and Cabins were not built directly on the river. Of our 72 rooms and 1 suite only 6 have any kind of appreciable river view. Four of those are stair step accessible only. This is due to the construction of the Lodge itself. Many of the architectural features and amenities that make the Lodge so appealing, limit the river viewing from individual guest rooms. There is no river view from any cabin.

The best way to watch the river is from our Great Room, Brussels Terrace and Lawn, or by taking a stroll by our Marina area or a hike along the bank side path.

Additional Notes
All guest rooms are nonsmoking. Smoking of any kind is prohibited. If management alone determines a guestroom has been smoked in, a substantial cleaning penalty will be charged to the room. Also all public areas, excepting the Illini Lounge when open, are nonsmoking.

No pets allowed. Service animals only.

Cooking is not allowed in or around any of our guest rooms. If you wish to grill or have an outdoor meal, please use the grills and picnic areas throughout the park.

Quiet hours are 10:00pm - 8:00am. Guest rooms and hallways must be extra quiet during these times. During these hours, only the registered occupants of a guest room may occupy the room. After quiet hours socializing must be done in the Great Room. Children 16 and younger must have adult supervision. Unsupervised children are not allowed in the swimming pool or any other public areas.
