Fishing and Night Hike Program

October 4th and November 2nd.

Meet at the Visitor’s Center (next door to the Lodge) for an educational program on fish at 5:30pm with Urban Fishing Coordinator, Scott Isringhausen. Following the talk, young kids can fish at the Bluegill Pond that sits next to the Visitor’s Center.

At 7:30pm, you can participate in a program about owls and other creatures you may hear outdoors during the night. Following the program, the group will take a night hike to listen for owls and other creatures. The hike will be around 2 miles long with a portion of it being uphill. Once you return, be sure to stick around for the hot dog and marshmallow roast! Refreshments and drinks will be provided.

Please bring appropriate footwear and one flash light per family.
